PROGRAM REGISTRATION CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

The Feather River Recreation & Park District (FRRPD) reserves the right to cancel, combine, reschedule, or modify any program, class, league, event, or activity due to low enrollment, staffing limitations, weather, facility conditions, safety concerns, or other unforeseen circumstances. If FRRPD cancels a program or activity, participants will receive a full refund or household credit for the full amount paid.

All cancellation and refund requests initiated by a participant must be submitted in writing, including by email, and received by FRRPD within the timelines outlined below. Refund eligibility is based on the scheduled start date of the activity, regardless of the registration date.

Participant Cancellation Requests
• Cancellation requests received at least seven (7) calendar days prior to the scheduled start date of the activity are eligible for a full refund, less a 10% administrative fee.

Cancellation requests received less than seven (7) calendar days, but at least seventy-two (72) hours prior to the scheduled start date of the activity, may be eligible for either:
- a 50% refund; or
- a household credit equal to 50% of the registration fee paid,
less a 10% administrative fee, as determined by FRRPD.

No refunds, credits, transfers, or make-up sessions will be issued for:
- cancellation requests received fewer than seventy-two (72) hours prior to the scheduled start date of the activity;
- no-shows;
- participant withdrawal after the activity has begun; or
- failure to attend all or any portion of a scheduled activity.

Administrative fees and any applicable third-party processing or transaction fees are non-refundable.

Medical Exceptions
Requests for exceptions due to verifiable medical illness, injury, or emergency circumstances may be considered on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of FRRPD. Supporting documentation may be required.

Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed using the original method of payment whenever feasible. Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider and financial institution.
